AP Biology
From the smallest units of life to how healthy ecosystems can be sustained, AP Biology explores the key principles of biology. While you learn about genetics and how it affects evolution, how energy flows through ecosystems and other fascinating topics, you’ll also learn how to think critically, solve problems, and communicate scientific ideas effectively.

AP Biology has complex concepts, but it becomes much simpler when you look at them in a different way. Some must-know topics are the energy cycles like Calvin and Krebs cycle and water behaviors. When studying for AP Biology it helps to understand the function of something and what part of its structure allows for this function. If something has a particular function it is because of its structure. Making these connections will help you study more efficiently and retain more.

Ensure you are familiar with the equation sheet and experiment portion of the FRQ and always think sequentially. If something is removed from a system go to the part that is directly influenced by its presence and continue down the line to the specific part of what the question is asking.
