AP Precalculus is a new class that has formulas, equations, and theorems to understand. The class is, however, doable, especially with how new the class is. Always come prepared to the class with your graphing calculator. When studying for each unit, do the practice tests on AP Classroom to ensure you understand the questions that will be given on your test and AP exam. Create a document full of all the formulas and theorems, and as you learn new ones, add them to the document. Collaborate with your peers when you get confused. Additionally, when studying for tests/exams, do as many practice questions as you can. Get familiar with the FRQs and the format of each FRQ. They will be similar to those that your teacher has you do in class or look at past AP Exam FRQ questions. On your paper draw the unit circle immediately so your aren’t struggling on any trig questions. Create graphs for any questions to help give a visual. Go to the Mock AP Exam on Saturday, as it helps with managing your time. Ensure you can answer all questions in the time given.
